AI agent examples: 9 ready agents for work and life
The short version: the most useful AI agents do dull but regular work — watch competitors, write meeting minutes, draft posts, answer customers from a price list, send a morning digest. Below are 9 such agents, each with full instructions, a set of tools and a first message. You can build any of them with one click and adjust it to suit you.

How to adapt an example
What the agents that stick have in common
Take the examples above apart and each one has four traits. They are also a handy test for your own agent idea.
| Trait | Why it matters | Example |
|---|---|---|
| It repeats | The setup time pays back on every run | A digest every morning |
| A checkable result | Mistakes show at once, so trust builds quickly | A price table with links |
| A narrow role | Short instructions, consistent behaviour | "Meeting secretary", not "office manager" |
| A rule against invention | The agent will not slot in a plausible untruth | "A deadline only if one was said out loud" |
Agents that work on their own: scheduling
Half an agent's value is that you do not have to write to it. An agent with scheduled runs wakes up at the set time, does the task and sends the result as a push notification: the title is the agent's name, the text is the start of its answer. You do not need to write cron — just tell the agent something like "every Monday at 9:00 am", and it turns that into a schedule itself.
The builder below shows exactly when the agent will run and puts together the sentence you need to send.

Tell the agent
“Send me the five biggest stories in my industry — on weekdays at 09:00, New York time. 30 runs in total.”
- • Repeats no more often than every 15 minutes; a one-off run no sooner than 15 minutes from now.
- • 30 runs by default, 500 at most.
- • Up to 20 active schedules per account.
- • Missed runs are not replayed in a batch: after a gap the agent runs once and carries on with the schedule.
Two things worth knowing in advance. A recurring schedule is set for 30 runs by default — if you want a daily digest for six months, name the number. And an agent cannot run more often than every 15 minutes: for monitoring that is not a limitation but a guard on your balance. Scheduled runs need a registered account.
Examples by area
Marketing and SEO
A competitor monitor, an SEO content researcher, an ad banner designer. How much time agents like these give back to a team is worked out in AI agents for business.
Office and sales
A meeting secretary, a sales assistant, a "report to slides" agent. Their strength is the knowledge base: price lists, terms, report templates.
Study and personal
A tutor that remembers what you have covered, and a morning digest. For an agent to know you, it needs memory — how that works is shown in the chapter on the personal AI assistant.
When one agent is not enough
If the instructions keep growing and the agent starts getting confused, split it into a team: one searches, another writes, a third checks. How that works is in the chapter on multi-agent systems. To build your own agent from scratch, use the step-by-step guide with a builder. The big picture is in the guide to AI agents.
